Our History

Four Seasons Arts is excited to continue the work begun long ago when Dr. W. Hazaiah Williams became the first African-American impresario of a major classical music concert series in the United States. During his years of directing legendary performances, concerts were presented throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, in major New York City venues and at an annual summer music festival on the Oregon coast. Since his death in 1999, we have continued his mission of presenting a diverse roster of world-class artists to diverse audiences, bringing people together across lines that could divide and offering experiences of musical nourishment that are mutually shared and enjoyed.

We are inspired by his vision and are motivated to carry it forward into our current and future concert experiences.

Four Seasons Arts proudly continues the programming that has brought these world-class artists to Bay Area stages
